The Lycée Viticole de Beaune produces this wine from a one hectare plot owned by the village of Puligny Montrachet. This young vineyard, operated in partnership with the Chamber of Agriculture of the Côte d'Or, produces rich and extremely expressive wines.
The vinification started in vats is extended into barrels (20% new barrels) over a period of six to nine months of aging depending on the vintages.
The Puligny Montrachet white is characterized by a very nice round support of floral and fruity aromas. Very subtle and almost closed in their youth, they evolve slowly according to the vintages with notes of Comté and candied white fruit.
Of a golden yellow color with green reflections, the nose presents notes of white flowers and exotic fruits (lychee, peach, ...). The mouth is smooth on acacia honey coated with vanilla. A warm and fruity vintage, the 2017 is particularly rich and the mouth very long.
This great Puligny Montrachet wine can be tasted now or stored for about ten years. It will be ideal on white meats in sauce.
